About me
I’m Michael and I’m a fully qualified Government Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) I’ve been a driving instructor for 10 years now and really enjoy my job. It’s very satisfying helping people of all ages learn to drive in a safe way. Fortunately, I’ve got lots of patience and I’m a relaxed and calm type of person and it’s very rewarding to watch someone mastering driving when they didn’t think they had the confidence to achieve it.

Before I was a driving instructor, I worked in the engineering sector and when this came to an end, I decided to follow a friend’s path who had recently qualified as a Driving Instructor. She loved her job and kept saying it would really suit me and she was right! I researched several driving school companies and decided on LDC who definitely came out on top. All learners are different and LDC offers a really flexible approach with a plan to suit everyone. Plus, it offers a very high standard of tuition and pupils can rely on a safe and reliable approach.

I will ensure that you are driving on your first lesson and not spending your first hours of tuition just sitting in the car learning theory.

I’ve lived in the West Yorkshire area all my life and know the routes and area very well. My wife and I have 4 grown up kids between and I know how important it is to know that they were taught to drive to in a safe yet enjoyable way. My lessons are always conducted in a friendly, calm and relaxed manner as I believe that pupils should always feel at ease during lessons.
